On thursday, 1/17/08, I did a photo shoot with Kina Tavarozi a.k.a Ninja Barbie. Kina lives in Tri-Cities, Washington but she was down visiting for the day so we got a shoot in. We shot at Triangle Park which is an abandoned superfund site now owned by University of Portland. The weather was hovering around freezing all day so it was quite a cold shoot. She was quite the trooper for being willing to shoot in the cold weather (and she wasn’t wearing nearly as many layers as I was).
Here’s some shots from the shoot (at the bottom is the lighting setup I used for the shots):

I used two Alienbees AB800 strobes (one camera left and the other as a backlight) and the vagabondII powerpack along with a softbox and umbrella.

more photos to follow on my flickr site soon (as Kina keeps bugging me for more because she loves them so much, haha)
