I’m going to New York! I bought my plane ticket today and I’ll be there from June 3-11. I’ll be there shooting head shots and any other photo shoots that happen to come my way.
About a week ago Max Von Essen, a actor in New York City, messaged me saying that he’d fly me out to New York to do headshots for him. I met him about four years ago, when I lived in California. I went to go see Dorian: The musical, and I stayed after to meet him. Ever since, we’ve corresponded occasionally and talked about me doing a shoot with him if I ever made it out to New York.
In other news, I’m on a sandlot Ultimate Frisbee team, the Natural 20s, that plays every Tuesday and Wednesday. It’s a great group of people comprised mostly from craigslist postings. Since we play Tuesday mornings most of us have unconventional jobs, have tuesday and thursday as they’re weekend, or are unemployed. Makes for an interesting mix of people. This Wednesday I brought my camera along and took some photos of the game.
