Back in February when I worked with Angles in Action promoting Cirque du Soleil I met Peter, who was stilting for Angels in Action. We lost touch but later in the year he showed up at the ultimate frisbee pickup games I went to. Then by chance I was taking photos for the Vintage Carnival, when I met two other stilters, Liz and Stephanie. They knew Peter and were actually all part of a performance group. I have always wanted to do a shoot with stilters so I asked them if they’d be interested and they ecstatically agreed. We set the shoot up for September, right before I left for NYC. Since moving to NYC this shoot somehow got buried at the bottom of the pile. Hopefully when I return to Portland I’ll be able to do some more shoots with them.
