Last Saturday I did a shoot with Caitlyn Larimore. Makeup and hair was done by Anna Webber. We started with just a simple look in front of my white backdrop which looks grey in the photos because I did not light it. I learned from Zach Arias that you can make a white backdrop look pretty much however you want it to look. If you’re interested in his tutorial you can find it here. As you’ll see in my later photos I was even able to make it blue. For most of the shoot I shot with my homemade beauty dish (with the exception of the first two photos which I shot with my softbox) as the key light and then either one or two lights hitting her from the side/back. I was quite happy with the effect my homemade beauty dish made.
